About Me

Hi, I’m Martin Micka. I spend most of my time at the intersection of technology, product, and people. Right now, I work as CTO at Nelisa, where we’re rethinking how recruitment works through data and automation.

I’ve been building software for over a decade, mostly in backend development and cloud infrastructure, but I’ve also had my hands in product leadership and business strategy. That blend - tech depth with a product lens is what keeps me excited: turning abstract ideas into things that work in the real world.

Outside of work, I’m into long-distance running, strength training, and the occasional experiment in writing about what I learn. This site is my little corner to share thoughts, half-finished theories, and the occasional rant about code, leadership, or life.

I also send out a monthly newsletter: a mix of curated thoughts, commentary on interesting tech or events, and the occasional rant. It’s once a month, no spam, no noise - just a thoughtful digest.

If you’re curious about working with me — whether for consultation, mentoring, or speaking — I’ve collected more details here.
